.86 blue screen crash upon quitting

Whether clicking the quit button in-game or ending the bf2 process from the task manager, pr will cause my 32 bit windows to crash to a blue screen and effectively, restart my computer. Anyone have any ideas as to what could be causing this? After searching the forums plenty of times I can't say its like any of the other blue screen errors that have been reported.
