You have to take things with a grain of salt regarding EA and military realism. According to them the average AT specialist carried an M60 too.

The unlockable weapons are pretty funky too. Pancor Jackhammer, AK4, SA80...No chance that those guns would be used by a foreign army.

They're using the latest varient of the Cobra for BF2 instead of the Apache, can't remember what model it's up to now...

Ummm maybe you should look at the reliability of the cobra. It is insane how many sorties each helo flew in the first gulf war.

I think the decision is more to do with the branch of the army that is apparently the main one portrayed in BF2, someone mentioned it before in another thread, could that someone repeat their comment... plz...
