The british army advert on the TV at the moment shows a soldier using controller to fly a UAV, do you think this would be possible in project reality?

Its been suggested many times. I've never been quite sure why its not done, but I think the DEVs aren't very interested in this particular asset. if it gets ingame it'll probably be a community project, but who knows.
My ideal incarnation of the UAV would be either a flyable vehicle or a launchable projectile that travels reasonable slowly and can be shot down, with a respawn of around 20mins. Preferably commander controlled (but not via commander screen)
But who knows, the .5 > 0 progression is usually very ground breaking.

That sounds great mate it would also be good because clans could create a Intelligence Corps within their clan to try to spot the enemy for the infantry squads within the clan.

Yea, I was thinking about suggesting this in a more detailed thread. A commander controlled UAV that is available every 20-30 mins (different on each map) that atleast view the battlefield to try and act as more of an indication of how the battle is going and to get better markers on the map for the rest of the team. Rather than an actual attack drone.

There have been literally dozens of UAV suggestions, so I'm pretty sure that all possible ways have been looked at. Lock.
