Muttra city suggestions

Ok there need to be some changes to muttra city. On the last round i played i saw absolutley no teamwork, no cooperation and no skills. Everyone grabed a helicopter and ran around the city. We barley managed to cap docks. And when we did it was over run for 30 minutes taking us to a hundred minutes. There needs to be some sort of other transportation for the US troops on the carrier becuase when all trans hueys are shot down, people crowd up on the deck and play games until we loose. This is not how Muttra is meant to be played. Im thinking that 2 supply trucks spawn at the repair station on docks and we loose 2 hueys. This will focus more on troops working together on the ground and less about grabbing pilots.
Some pics from last round:

I want to hear some thoughts.

Players are hardcoded. I've had this happen to me a few times but it isn't so bad that there needs to be any changes to the map.

haha players are hardcoded, but we never had to change maps we just bled out of tickets, i want some sort of new transportation for the troops and less air assets as its a waste of tickets and time.

It's the spawn time of hueys dilemma. It feels as if its at 20 minutes, but it set to ten. Either way, 10 minute spawn is the way to go.

well when you only have the carrier to spawn on, 10 minutes worth of ticket bleeding will loose you the game.

Good Rallies, FOBs, APCs, Boat...
Getting a decent strong hold on the Docks is what is needed

The map is Awesome. I've had many round where i have enjoyed playing the map as either team, role.

If you've been chucked off the docks as US then your team have failed im afraid, the tools are there and they are balanced in such a way that neither team has a particular advantage.
Yes, in some games the US are thrown straight back to the Essex, but by an equal token some games have the US pwning the MEC right back to south city. Unfortunately players are hardcoded, if you are finding no teamwork perhaps you should switch server.

i agree its mostly its players playing grab-*** that is hardcoded.
but i think a few more (like 4 or so) of those boats with M249s on them would be handy when the helicopters are shot down by my AA on a roof
but make those 4 boats spawn like 30 minutes into the game so they are reserved.

Or, you could just create a road from the Carrier to Docks, then scheme it like Rainbow Road from Mario Kart.
But really, The pilots of the Hueys must have some air time with them, or your gonna be suffering some hell, That is why I avoid the Hueys if I'm going to fly.

Um hello how many times have you played muttrah? theres apcs and boats you can take when your moron team crashed all the choppers. I cant tell you how many times Ive played muttrah and the APCs and boats sat idle in the carrier dock the entire round. yeah it may not be as sexy as taking a chopper, and I know its tough sometimes to find a whopping 2 people to cooperate enough to use an APC, but this is PR you dont want to play with a team that doesnt have atleast 2 cooperative people anyway.
I suggest switching servers. Muttrah is damn near perfect with proper teams. You cant dumb the map down just because you played a bad round with an idiot team.

lol charlie ive played it probably 30 times at least maybe 20 times its been good. I know about the APC's my server seems to not provide transportation from the carrier or they are either blown up.

As many people have said players are hardcoded.
Just because you had a few bad rounds dont come here whining that there is not enough transportation because there is plenty.

Muttrah is designed so that if the USMC team is **** they are pushed back into the sea and loose the map unless they can regroup do an amazing counter attack but its not the problem with the map if your team looses, its your problem.
You have loads of choppers, both attack and transport, you have APCs to help with ground support and if all else fails, you have a bunch of boats below that can quickly transport your squad into the docks.
I suggest you try going commander or something to help your team win instead of posting a topic like this next time.
