little bird has fast rope?...can't say I can see that happening :D

anyway, at this time the fast rope isn't possible. There have been some interesting developments, but BF2 has always replied to us "you can't have nice things"

Remember ot check ur suggestion has not been suggested already in the A.S.S thread found in a sticky at the top of this sub forum.

Yea, I don't know... I thought I heard this idea before, but now that I think about it, it's a pretty good suggestion.

Yes, the MH-6 can be configured and used for fast rope and other HRST. See the gantries with ropes attached above the seating platforms? :)

Higher res photos here for those interested.

Since we have proof from our Military Advisor that Littlebirds can have fastropes, we need to open this suggestion as this is something new.

not quite new, did come up quite a few years ago on the forums, I can remember as I claimed the guy was BSing as I had never seen it, then he provided a picture of it in action :( :p

Could it be activated with some combination of keys?
Just for not activate it by mistake.

Alt+F4 is a nice combination.
If its not hardcoded of course...

But first we need a Good ol' C-130 from which to test the efficiency. If we don't get that, what are fastropes good for? :p

Naw, don't worry guys, they are WIPs, and if anything comes from them, PR will be the first and most likely unique mod to offer them... ironically

Just wait and see though, the entire group of coders concerning themselves with it... are either AWOL or have a crapload of work to do.
