It's mounted on a short rail which also serves as a front post for ironsights if there is no scope/aimpoint attached

Crewman for sure... and probably also a medic (I'm still considering it)

Ragni, if you can use a HUD-Based reticle ala the current Aimpoint, but maintain the standard EoTech crosshair, I will touch your butt not once but three times.

btw. why crosshair is now used as optics dot, and not texture like in 85 ?

Chuc is testing it out .. Having the reticle textured looked like garbage, and wasn't very realistic. (Dot does not behave the way collimating sights work.)

Because, AFAIK the one on the picture is not a standard version used in Polish military....
I think the picture was taken during MSPO 2008... and it's not in use yet (and it's hard to say if it will be used by Polish Forces at all).
BTW. The new one looks ugly TBH

Development of the new model with adjustable stock, fixed manipulators and better RIS has been finished and it's probably going to be ordered by Polish Army somewhere in 2009 ( info from Europoltech military convention, 22-24.04.09 ).
