Everything before the patch installs with no problems but when the patch attempts to install an error appears that read as follows:

I have Vista



This is what the logs say:

Activation context generation failed for "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe". Dependent Assembly Microsoft.VC90.CRT,processorArchitecture="x86",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",type="win32",version="9.0.21022.8" could not be found. Please use sxstrace.exe for detailed diagnosis.

This error in the logs was probably from when PR would not start and error appeared on my screen that read, "pr.exe has stopped working".

Looks like something went wrong with the download. I'd try a different mirror and install again You might get away without having to do a full reinstallation though

I am so glad I don't use vista.
But yeah like he said reinstall , or redownload.

I am happy to say that I redownloaded the patches and it finally worked! Thanks for the assistance!...............

Still one problem.........Vista. I recently reformatted and had to change all the settings back which took at least an hour and then had to delete all the advertising garbage
