Thoughts around spawning.

Im not realy for the spawn on squad leader thingi as its well not so realistic :D its a good feature but mayby you can do something else that would make it more realistic.


required for these examples are.
#1 time parachutes. (add ammo to parachute that will be resupplyed as fast as you enter a flying vehcile) for all classes.
#Possilibity to make spawns apper with python.
#Vechile as spawn point.



Here follows some examples.

1.Make squad leader be able to call in extra troops in the comm rose. this will add a spawn point where the squad leader is aiming or at the SL's position (not close to a CP tho) it will be 500+ meters from the ground and (like a paratroop spawn), The commander will need to accept this for it to apper (works as the artillery/supply drops), Spawn will only be avalible for a short time lets say 2 mins then have a reload time for a new one in 5mins. This spawn point will be open for everybody in that team not only for the squad where the squad leader request came from.


2.Us APCs as mobile spawn points, But you can only spawn in one if its not full. there must be a driver in it otherwise it will be inactive..

got more ideas around this subject but as i dont have all the facts on what python and stuff can do ingame im just stopping here.

I like the first idea. Paraspawn, sounds cool hehe.
The second I dont follow.
The third I dont really think is a good idea, specially since tanks get blown up pretty quick.

There are a few problems with this idea.

1. you will fall to your death when you spawn because you have to manualy select your parachoot, I dont know if there is a way to automaticly select your parachoot when you spawn.

2. What happens when all the SL's ask for spawn points? you can have 5 extra spawn points all over the map.

3. If everyone can spawn on the spawn point it rewins a lot of maps, an SL can simply get in a heli fly over to a flag and place a spawn point, eveyone then spawns there and takes the flag, rince and repeat.

Same problems, you now have multipal mobile spawn points where everyone can spawn, also not all maps have APC's so what then.

Is there actualy a problem with the current SL spawn? yes ok its not the most realistic thing in the world but its nesisery to keep the squad together and working together.

I made a suggestion a while back in a thread where I discussed a new game mode I had planned out. Either way, my idea for spawning was a pretty good one. Basically, flags have no spawns. If you're a lone wolf you can only spawn at your main base, if it exists. To spawn anywhere else, you need to be in a squad. When a squad leader enters a friendly flag capture radius, he loses the red ring around his green dot and can be spawned on. What does this mean? Players either run to the battle, or they get in a squad and the squad leader moves to a friendly spawn point to spawn his squad. Alternatively, the squad leaders ability could also be enabled when he enters a vehicle, but this is open to abuse (get in a hummer, spawn team, get out, rinse and repeat). At least with a flag and SL needed to spawn you have to run back to get reinforcements, or literally go the long way round.

I like this idea. :D

Lol, an APC with a constant stream of passengers, never ending supply - cool!!!
Sounds like something out of willy wonker and choc factory.
