"pr.exe has stopped working"

whenever i try to start up PR i get an error that says pr.exe has stopped working. I have no idea what to do. Everything installed perfectly fine and this is the only thing thats holding me back from playing. Anyone have any ideas?

Hey. Are you able to load up BF2?

yeah BF2 loads up perfectly fine

Have a search through these forums. Its a common problem and most likely to do with a corrupted .NET installation.

Well i got that problem solved but now its giving me a "staticmesh.fx(2): error X1507: failed to open source file: 'mods/xpack/shaders/datatypes.fx"

Your install is corrupted. By that I mean your vanilla install. mods/xpack is nothing to do with PR. Its the special forces expansion I think.
