did a search but nothing, so here goes

Did u remove the reverse beeping stuff for trucks in 0.86 ??? because i was actually using that and imo its pretty useful

I think it is still there. I use it in APCs. Never used it in trucks.

Have you tried pushing "F" and then honking?

OMFG i didn't knew it, i thought it was removed since it was automatic.

i'm sure it doesnt work for trucks, havent tried in an apc yet

I think at the very least the British Logistics truck lacks a reverse honk. I always found it helpful in .85 when doing logistics.

Maybe it was removed for realism?

Nope, other players only hear honk. So when you hear nice *peep**peep**peep* other hear *HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONK*
So its annoying.

Its for local client only unfortunately. Could never seem to solve that one (very low priority anyways)

whenever i drive a truck and i reverse i jusy honk alot "HONK HONK HONK HONK!" and move in reverse slowly. it works good bcuz ppl move out of the way

Yea I know the DEV's have more important things but couldnt you just map it to x? At least for apcs and Regular command trucks.

I use the same technique too. It works fine, indeed. Safety first.

I just figured out all those people weren't noobs. The didn't deserve to get hit by a smart bomb in my head.
