everytime i play PR it crashes about 5-10 minutes into the game. so ill be in a great squad setting up our plan and then it just goes to desktop. not very fun for me. ive seen and read many other posts about it and my seems pretty similar.PR has never crashed until 0.86 so i think it has to do with the mod. ive been playin since 0.8 so i know i can run the mod but here is a link to my xfire page which has my specs at the bottom of the page theflidgeface
i just downloaded the beta for windows 7 and am currently using it but i dont think it will change anything so i havent tried yet, maybe i will later. i would appreciate any help on this matter because until i get help i will be forced to play source.

*edit* i just tried playing and it did the same thing so i tried playing windowed again and it got into the match which was fallujah west on TBA and then five minutes later it CTD WITHOUT an error message so that means i cant post an error message on here. plz someone help

you, me, and about another 50 people ahev this error no point in posting when there is another 20 posts. Just sit tight and wait for help like me.

If you don't get the memory error, don't crash before entering the game then it's random CTD. Your screenshot seems to do the same error as my mini-image mounting does.

sorry apparently i could run it in windowed mode like i say now but when it ctd after loading it was random.

as u can tell i removed that part about the loading

My crash happens when im playing a map but no error comes up when it does.

You are below the minimum for Vista.
Below is recommended for XP.
Minimum Specification:
CPU: 1.7 GHz
RAM: 512 MB
Video Card: nVidia GeForce FX 5700, ATI Radeon 8500 or ATI Radeon 9500 with 128 MB of RAM

Recommended Specification for Project Reality:
CPU: 2.4 GHz
RAM: 2GB
Video Card with at least 256 MB of RAM

Minimum Specification for Vista to run Project Reality
CPU: 2.4 GHz
RAM: 2GB
Video Card with at least 512 MB of RAM
4 gigs is recommended for Vista

I have a 2.66 single core
1.2gb RAM
Nvidia geforce 8400 gs with 512 ram
Windows XP SP3

well i guess i am below the minimum but first off my comp came with vista and 1 gig, second PR has worked since 0.8 so i think my ram is an issue, and third im planning on getting 4 gigs of RAM within the next few months.

hey i have the same/a similar problem under Win Vista 64bit.
i never had ctds in the past and also not with 0.86. yesterday i could play also normal without problems, but since this evening today it ctds evertime again after some minutes of playing.

i tried the windowed mode and had no ctd but graphic bugs: the ground textures were not visible, so i couldn't see any hills or just the ground. it was like a wallhack, i could see enemys 300meters away through mountains. and no ctd came up with no error message :/

so back to fullscreen mode and i get the ctd

what can cause this, that i get from one day to the next suddenly this sucking ctd?

Drivers are the latest for sound and graphics.
System specs:
Intel E8200 (4Ghz)
4GB DDR2 RAM
Geforce 8800GT
Creative X-FI Titanium

atm im downloading the whole pr client & levels to reinstall them. hope it helps.

All of a sudden today I can´t stay in game more than 5 minutes it seems without getting a CTD, never had CTDs before this for no reason, these are completely random with no message. In PR and AIX.

hey alex, so you got the same problem, since the 19.08.09 (yesterday)?

Yeah. Restart seems to have fixed it for now. Could have been the new version of Avast that installed and I didn´t restart for but I am not sure.
