Medic kit disappears upon death.

I had an Idea. How about when the medic dies, his kit automatically goes away like the Insurgent's collaborator kit used too. It's kinda annoying to kill a medic and think you don't have to worry about that enemy squad being revived but then some rifleman goes and picks up his kit and becomes the new medic and revives. It would also help since you would ALWAYS have the medic kit available in the spawn menu since no one would be able to pick it up.
I was also even maybe thinking, 2 different kits. One you can spawn with that is a basic medic that has the patches and medic bag and a "better" medic that you have to select off crates that is able to revive and make enough of them for 1 in each squad, so I think 8 or 9 per team? Tbh, I think PR would be a lot better without being able to revive or at least bring back head shots.

lets say this would happen in real life..
well.. im my good friend (and squad member) got shot all of a sudden and was wounded but has a perfectly wound chance of survival and all he needed was me to grab his medical supplies and try and help him out
I would, and in real life kits dont just all of a sudden disappear, plus besides that yeah its kinda annoying sometimes thats why the medic kit is now limited and by what i just found out if the person is shot within like 60 seconds of getting revived they are dead and cannot be revived anymore so thats kinda cool

I doubt that every rifleman is so well trained in medicine as a corpsman. They know how to provide first aid (field dressings) but not how to inject epi and treat them like a real corpsman.
And of course the equipment does not disappear in real life, but kits are more a class rather than just equipment. Or do you think that you can automatically fly a black hawk because you look like a pilot? Or operate someone because you have the equipment to do that?
I fully support this idea.

All soldiers are taught first aid
The corpsman/medic may have an extra course or two, but he will not have dropped out of medical school or something like that (well, probably not lol)
And note, adrenaline is not administered how it is in PR in Real life, this is a pardoy that is representative.
The medic ingame represents the soldier carrying the extended first aid kit more than anything

Ok, I thought I had seen something similar before but it was a while ago.

This would prevent the ridiculous revives I see when people just instantly get there medic back just because the kit is laying there. Also, it would make the medic maybe not act like an "asshat" and loose his life carelessly. This is an excellent idea NoobFragger.

You would be surprised how much this still happens even after the updates.

Here's the real problem guys.
Correct me if I am wrong...
Blufor squad goes into combat. Medic dies. Insurgent picks up medic kit. Blufor squad cannot get another medic kit until the insurgent dies.
I've had this happen to my squad, and I can't think of any other reason.

This is why it would help also, since the medic kit would disappear INSTANTLY as soon as the medic dies and your squad would have the medic kit available again.

Combat Medical Technician - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
AFAIK there is only one medic each platoon. AND this medic is fully trained (link above).
If the medic class don't represent this medic it should not have the ability to heal them with a medi bag.
PS: I know and wrote in my first post that every soldier is taught in first aid.

In the US Army, all soldiers are taught Basic Combat Lifesaving techniques.
This involves a number of things, including how to identify the problem, how to fix it, and how to stabilize the health of the wounded. Since the Epinephrine pen is used as a 'metaphor' for treating and stabilizing the wounded, it can be assumed that all soldiers are medics, but only one classified as a 'medic' because they carry the supplies.
I assume that, for the most part, that true 'medics', or corpsmen, are not usually on the frontlines, and are usually stationed at a friendly base and when friendlies are medivac'd in to the base, the medic then takes the wounded from the transport and treats him at base as best he can. So again, it's not like the medic in PR has some secret knowledge, he just carries the supplies that all the others with him know how to use.
(If I am wrong about any of this, and you know a bit about the US Army's training/etc that I do not, please do prove me wrong, as most of this is not backed by any self-experience of my own; only by references made that portray this to be the truth)

i suppose then if someone picks up medic kit, unless the soldier is dead they cant administer epi pen, but can heal all others ?

Most likely hardcoded, which is why no one said it before

i find its not a big deal @ all. Its ok like it is right now. Just when u shoot someone dont move on a sec. later. Lay down and wait what comes to help the dowend man.
And if some one trys to pick up a kit or heal the guy, just shoot both of them.
If the medic kit is away in the same sec, then its not good for gameplay imo. Because then a whole sq has to wait for the medic to walk a long way from the rally, b4 they can move on. Right now the have a chance to get him back.
And in the current layout, it most of the time comes to great fights when someone starts healing or try´s to get a kit.
BTW. if you want it, why only for the medic?

Because then a sniper could effectively cripple an enemy squad, but imo its pointless since its like impossible to tell which person is the medic.
