Hi,
im new to the pr system and i just downloaded everything i need. But when i run the program it gives me an error screen.. failed to load effect: staticmesh.fx
then on the bottom it says...staticmesh.fx(2):error X1507:failed to open source file:
'mods/xpack/shaders/datatypes.fx'....
help

No..i didnt get the patch. Where do i get it from? Do i have to reinstall it all?

Try installing it when you get it, otherwise reinstall everything in the correct order.

ok thanks alot. i downloaded the patch and its working. But when i go to the kit screen its missing the bottom two. Is there something else im missing?

No problem. You mean you can't spawn with them? That's because they're limited, you have to be a squadleader to use them. The medic- and automatic rifleman kit are limited to 1 of each per squad.

Nope. Before i spawn, when i go to the kit list its missing the officer kit and i think something else. Gameplay is a little jumpy what would you recommend for it to run smoother?

Hmm. Can you show a screenshot of it? Sounds weird. Turn down your video settings until it feels comfortable.

Yea sure. Do i need the 86 patch?Idont believe i have it.

No, only if you had the older 0.85 version installed, then you'd only need the patch.

sorry it took so long to reply my e drive crashed. had to replace. ok..so at the begining of the game before you spawn your supposed to pick a kit and a squad..it only shows a pic for the four kits.not including any officers

I almost forgot to tell you. something was wrong with the american download..when i tried to run the setup is said some of the files were corrupted so i used the british downloads
