Saw firing deviation

Ok right now the SAW no matter how ming you shoot it your deviation will not get worse! It even gets better if you prone dive and start shooting in deployed mode. this is not true for rifles, the more you fire the worse your deviation gets, this seriously ;eaves rifles at a bad disadvantage!
So my suggestion is either take away the deviation increase when firing a rifle,
Or add deviation increase to the SAWs, i suggest this one becasue it makes people wait until the deviation is down and fire in small bursts to keep that good deviation, even if its just vvverryy little after each shot fired
IM NOT bitching about the SAWs being really accurate and stuff, i just dont like how they STAY that acurate after firing for a long time while rifles dont

the saw weighs a hell of alot more then an m16 plus with the use of a bipod that thing isnt gonna go off target much... its fine how it is imo.

A SAW is mounted on a bipod when deployed and should therefore be able to maintain accurate sustained fire. That's pretty much the point of the weapon.
The prone to instant accuracy is a BF2 issue outside the scope of PR.

And you are complaining now ? Before the patch the saw was a laserbeam after deploying it for 2 sec. It is amazing how people were too lazy to request such a powerfull weapon. Then again you have to paly differently then when you have an m16.

But, it does have a deviation increase when firing extended bursts... Are you using something different? If you fire a burst of much more than 5 rounds at longer range you won't hit a thing.
I'll admit that it could do with some tweaking but its really not bad at all.

I would support this. I'd rather see more burst firing than hosing.

well try this in a game, deploy, go prone zoom in and instantly start shooting and keeps shooting one long hose, youll notice youll se the tracers start getting closer and closer to the center, i want to stop this, you can probably notice it more on the M249

Not noticed it myself, only ever fire in 3/5 round bursts.

From what little I remember, if you were to have a full clip, proned and begun firing in the same moment, your aim will slowly, eventually center itself, instead of spreading.
But I haven't played in a while and didn't play around TOO much with the SAW during gameplay, so I could be spreading fabrications of the mind.

The only thing i dislike about the AR's is that if you stay still and prone you can stand up and immediatly have accurate fire. Its really frustrating with all the guns actually cause you can line somebody up then just stand up and put 30 rounds downrange and insta-kill them with your magical accuracy.

This might well be an illusion - and what's going on could well be that as deviation increases from the prolonged fire, it's also being narrowed as the effect of being prone kicks in. What you see is a net shift from large deviation to smalll - although the deviation modifier for prolonged fire is still being applied it's being outweighed.
Not entirely sure - someone who works with the deviation system would be best to ask - but it's possible.

this is true, but from what i understand this is being worked on. however, keep in mind that the same (except for the 30 rounds) is true for normal riflemen as well.
i think that in direct combat, the lmg is supposed to beat the other rifles.

I dont really like when epople complain about the deployed and undeployed deviation fine you dnt like the deviation then use it in undeployed mode and why have a saw in the first place if you wnat burst fire, why not just use the m16.I agree that there would be some deviation while kneelt down or standing up on full auto, however I like it the way it is because it allows for you to kneel at a window or low wall to fire giving the sense of the bipod is in use if you dnt like use undeplyed.
