I just got banned from two servers just now for "CHEATING (BANNED FOR 1337 MINUTES) by www.ggc-stream.com". I'm afraid to even try another server because I'm pretty sure it'll do the same exact thing.

What the hell is this? Why am I banned for cheating? I don't cheat. I don't even know how to go about cheating. I'm extremely pissed that I'm banned from two good servers now and I don't know how to stop it. I went to that website and it's almost all in german and I learned virtually nothing. I tried to register for their forum but I never got a confirmation email so I can't post on it.

Earlier today I was kicked by punkbuster for 2 minutes for a "MD5 tool mismatch" which I've seen before but I don't know what it is. I don't know if this is relevant.

Does anybody know whats going on ?

Go to the server website and sort it out. We don't deal with individual server bans.

It has nothing to do with a server I believe because it was instant the moment I get into the server and it was just a punkbuster message with that weird information.

For how many minutes? o.O

I just googled and found out that other people get banned for 1337 minutes too. Is that supposed to be some kind of joke by... whoever?

Anyway - First thing I thought when I saw the thread is that maybe your account got hacked. Try to log in with your account (into a normal BF2 server) from a different computer and try logging in with a new account.

It's a ban by GGC stream - you can find an english version of their site I believe, and challenge the ban there.

question is, why did you get banned the first time?

in any case, we cannot help you on this site. My advice is to play elsewhere. A few private servers, run by clan members have a low tolerance for mistakes.

the usual ways to get thrown off a server by a server admin are...(not suggesting you did any of these but they may be helpful if you'd like to review your activities while in the server, or other servers.)

• bad comments in the text (racism, smart remarks, bad language)
• wasting vehicles including jets and helicopters,stealing somone's vehicle while they waited for it to spawn.
• not being in a squad
• looking silly at main (firing rifle, dropping mines/C4 or whatever)
• Being commander and not doing anything productive or being in the command post
• blocking vehicles which may be construde as force teamkilling
• Kicked for being idle (they can see how long you are standing still for in BF2CC)
• server admin was smacktard

one thing i will say though is, most of the time the punkbuster messages dont give you a specific message like "banned for waring banana shaped shoes". they mainly say the server is full or make room for member. a lot of the time, the custom "reasons" for kicking a person dont show up, at least they dont for me anyway. unless DICE was being really sarcastic to a person who has done somthing odd to their account. take my advice with a pinch of salt if you like, its just my opinion.

OP - hope that's answered your question. It's nothing to do with the mod team here, the ggc anti-cheat system has obviously got you flagged for some reason, appeal at their site and if they lift the flag, you'll be able to play on servers protected by ggc. Until then you can play on servers using other anti-cheat systems like punksbusted, but obviously, only if you're sure your system is free from hacks and cheats - because otherwise you'll just get banned on the alternative system.
