Suggestion on reason for vehicles

I am not no airforce pilot or anything but i notices a common thing in arcade type things.
well one thing is that there are planes and helis that are all that really needed. A example would be if there is a objective for a goal the usa, china, mec forces wouldnt send a plane for nothing they would need a goal, not to just "get kills" but to do somthing bomb somthing or protect from hostiles. such as a game type can be a convoy and then american pilots know or have some intell then enemy pilots are coming in bound, there mission it to protect ground forces and also the convoy, but the opposing team has a time limit and planes cant spawn or w/e and then there for the pilots in the game have a misson or a common goal to achieve. Not just placed out of no where just to get kills, same goes for basicly every other unit. tanks wouldnt be sent threw the town, no way not like in the thows bf videos infantry is always used to clear building i dont see any other way to do that.
sorry if my thoughts are hard to explain. if you need more clarifying just ask.
