Seeing smoke through walls

Title says it all. Was playing on T&T server, EJOD Desert map, USMC side, and came upon this:
My location was at the ruins, southeast of city center, I dunno what the smoke was(grenade or vehicle).
My system specs:
Mobo: Gigabyte Ga-EP45-DS3
CPU: Q8200@ 2.33Ghz quadcore
GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD4870 Toxic
P.S.: No Im not using cheats...
