Unspoken PR rules.

I was playing today with only about 3-6 guys in GloryHoundz server, and when I joined some people were using armor and I thought that was stupid. So I tried as hard as I could to get people to stop using armor, so far that I damaged my teammates vechiles so that they would get out. Its annoying to play on a map when there is 6 guys and get owned by a APC that rolls in when you are having a awesome Infantry fight. I hope yall share the same distress as me.

So Unspoken rule #1: No armor when there is less then 10 people. Only Jeeps and Grunts!

#2: Don't go sniper if your team already has 3 or so ... nothing worse than facing 15 guys with SPRs...

hah. I thought fritz had a script that didnt spawn armour with few players, dono tho. But yea tanks suck with 10 players.

#3 If you are a squad leader, boot players that aren't fighting with your team, so the players that want team play can join. Nobody likes a freeloader.

This goes along with #4 "don't join a squad if you don't want to work as a squad."

#5- choose the class not from its merits, but from its need on the battlefield.
#6- communicate. don't sit there listening to people talk and not answer important questions. you donut.

Also nothings worse than having 15 snipers on your team, while your team is getting whiped out by the other classes because noone wants to work as a team.

This is the best mod ive ever come across , forcing players to work as a team as they capture the flags in a specific order. But as always its let down people playing for points (they still do it even though theres nothing to be gained) so you get the snipers camping a spawn point and making the game just as frustrating as vanilla bf2. Having a sniper in your squad can be extremely benificial for spotting and taking out targets but when you got 25 of em on a 42 player server its ruins the game.

Is there no way of perhaps limiting snipers to one per squad (and actually having to be in a squad to pick a sniper)? Just one of my random ideas  I know you can take realism too far sometimes but a server full of snipers just aint real

7. Don't stand there idley when you are medic and I am yelling "I need a medic here!"
8. Don't stare at medics when they heal you. Have your rifle up on your shoulder and watch the area for enemies (yes, you can fight while being healed ;) )
9. Clear the area of enemies before reviving me.
10. If you are SL, don't run gung-ho into the enemy base and get yourself killed
11. on extraction, wait for other people to get into the HMMWVs before driving off in the SUV, and move in a convoy. Please.

I hope its not restricting, id rather see people work together than have to foreably restrict people.

12# if you are a rifleman and someone dives to the ground in front of you screaming "I'm bingo on ammo" it usually means you get the ammo pack out and chuck a couple of them down (one is never enough when you've expended everything) not doing this should give the plaintive free options to gun the bugger down!

13# when the bug that only allows one squad to form is apparent, if the commander tells the single squadleader to leave his post and give someone else the job since he is not calling ammo or arty for anyone but himself when he is desperate, then the squad leader should get kicked off the server

Agree with #12! Have had to chase assault guys around a map spamming them with I NEED AMMO, STOP! and I end up picking up their assault kit to throw down a bag then pick up my medic kit again.

lol I play assault and some times I dont even notice the requests. But I usually throw ammo down if I see guys setup somewhere, I'm cool like that.

Lol, I agree with all these rules. I think the DEV's should compile a list of all the rules and put them in a ReadMe and the FAQ and EVERYWHERE! All over the front page and anywhere a new comer would go so when they break these rules we can BAN THEM MUA HAHAHA! (Maybe not so drastic action)

in response to 15, don't let Riki Rude drive because he is just about the worst driver (I run into stuff alot :o ops: )

#16 When someone grabs a heli, drops you guys off, sits with you to capture the flag... DONT TAKE THEIR CHOPPER! nothing ticks me off more then bringing my squad into an area and then having someone take my chopper  ticks me off!

#17 And please don't test your flying abilities on the servers! that's what single player, or making your own server is for!

#18 if your SL, try not to take point, im sure one of your soldiers would like to go support or spec ops to go point, never have medics go point

#19 assign a pointman!

# Never instaprone and use the Support weapons.

# Always own up if you were knifed with something like "Nice knife" or "Who knifed me? Bravo!" (to the point where I'd suggest Knifing kill messages are brought back into the game, realistically you would be close enough to see thier dog tags, rifle through their pockets etc)
