People who fly upside down.

Okay, yes, I know that was one long topic title, but I want everyone else's answer and to debate about why they do it. Basically, what do you think of/say whenever you see a pilot upside down?

(Yes, I know I have done it before in the past, but I learned, and am more mature, and only do it when needed, which is rare)

What are your thoughts?

Aslong as he does he's job, I couldn't be less caring about wether the pilot flys upsidedown or not.

if you can pick up, ferry and drop off a squad, all whilst upside down, with stoping to drop them off at an altitude that they don't die then it would be epic (such things sould be videod)

hint hint ;)

Yes Project Reality's flight physics, not Combined Arms(even though they are superior lol)

Uh, well, people do it to show off and because it's fun. Sometimes I can laugh about such things, sometimes I'm a bit annoyed... It's useless but fun.

It used to be fun when only a handful knew how to, now it's kinda stupid how seems everyone can do it :/

Although I have had a few occasions where I've lagged and ended up flying upside down to save my arse

Yeah, completely agree with Fuzzy, it was fun when only a few pilots(the best) back in .75 knew how to do it. Now it's just insane.

I wouldn't say only the best knew how to do it. I have killed many pilots that can do this and do this all the time and I have seen them get "lag" while doing their stunts and die.

I do it sometimes, rarely though, but i ALWAYS do a barrel roll when locked on in a Huey, i never get shot down in a Huey unless i get shot by a 50. cal through the glass :(

and i think you need to get an R-MOD or something to create a poll for you

I just laugh, like when someone does a wheelie on a dirt bike.

It's a silly stunt done for occasional amusement and the odd "WTF" reaction from the few who haven't seen it yet.

I don't see the relation to maturity or need for excuses, If you have a sense of humor in PR and haven't already done/seen it it's just entertainment.

Well it's nice to feel special but flying upside down was never exclusive to "the best", just those who knew it could be done at the time. Once you know you can gain altitude whilst upside down in certain helicopters it's just a matter of inverted controls, which I'm sure any PR pilot with practice can handle.

*cough*

Just because you can fly upside down doesn't mean you're classified as the best. Back in .75 I remember flying a lot with you. Never flew upside down though.

Its okay as long they dont crash and do it in a safe zone.
Ive never seen it as a special skill or advantage.
But suprise attacks may work better while upside down :D

That pretty much sums it up. I don't fly with pilots that think they're all that and more. It's just irritating and annoying.

Just fly me to my destination safely and leave it at that. I don't need to see how "cool" you are because you can fly upside down...

I'd take an efficient pilot over a "pro" any day of the week.

I occasionally do it, its nice to scare people when on mumble. Other than that, its just a flashy trick. A barrel roll is a good way to dodge AA rockets, but you can also dodge them without barrel rolling.

On topic:

I guess people do it for LOLs most of the time :)

Personally I don't care if the pilot flies upside down or how many rolls he does on the way as long as he is able to transport my squad safely from point A to B or drop a crate on the designated position ;)
