I saw this wepon on discovery channel. It is an assault rifle that is as accurate as a sniper rifle. Maily used in urban warfare. Just a new weapon idea... It will be the new M16 but better.

i read it uses the same mechanics as an ak, jsut given a bullpup make over and a plastic cover.

p.s i am not interested in this atall. A nice weapon but no place in PR, i dont feel it is needed or could fit in anyware nicely.

Looks a lot lik the rifle in FEAR (great game).

It is used by Isreal(sp?), so it probably won't be in there unless it is used by them. It really isn't that new either. Look it up on World Guns/Modern Firearms.

how odd, I was talking about this earlier in the tourney shout box, the IMI Tavor TAR-21.

Israel's new line of assault rifles that was set to replace their current IMI Galil assault rifles (plus the M16A1's and CAR 15's).
It's still being developed and looks to be working on the OICW system like many other AR's.

Since it was mainly designed with the IDF in mind, I don't think it is too unreasonable to think the MEC might be using it as their standard assault rifle.
Though like i mentioned in the shoutbox earlier, if an army needs their weapon upgrdaes it's the Chinese.

wow, kl gun!

It's probably quite ergonomic but I don't like the look of it. The carbine looks like the Master Chief should be wielding two of them, and the rest look like they should be firing lasers. The only decent bullpup is the SA80 series.

I prefer TAR anyday ;]

Gun is great but as it has been said ... PRM doesn't feat Isreali Army.

aye, it does. it probably is the same gun.

EDIT: I remember using the TAR-21 all day in Rainbow Six 3. Kicked ***, although it looked so much cooler in that game than in that pic... looks squashed.

But it fits MEC, and if the devs are planning on giving them the German MP7 this sort of thing fits too, especially as it'll be produced in that region. They want the MEC to look more modern, so this sort of thing fits the bill.

Still, I think China needs looking at first too. The Type 56 is majorly outdated, they've been using the Type 95 since... well 1995.

and they're still using it, so have it in pr!
