just as the title says.i allways seem to be killed by it even no im hiding behind somthing.
dont think its intended as the BF2 engine dont do ballistics like that.

and before you say it no my legs were NOT poking out the other side

o also happends with hummer mounted MG's also. not sure if this post this in the bug section or not so move if you need

.50 cal shoots through walls, not sure about LMG.

There is some walls you can shoot through.

Sometimes your hit box lags behind you so at times it seems when you are in cover for a split second or two enemy can hit you without hitting your actual body. Also on Ashad Kal the corner of the houses can be shot through. Not sure if that answered your question but thats the occurences on when i get shot when in cover.

iv seen LMG rounds go through stone walls and also houses, but it rare it like a 1 in a million chance that it will penetrate.

I seems like some rounds will go through the thin sheet metal in shacks.

yeah that normal. the tin sheds in game can't stop a bullet, which is why i find it pretty funny when people hide behind them. Lol

ye, at the moment there dirt wall material allows for rounds to go though walls where in r/l, a 30mm round from an Apache cannon can not get though thous walls and its something we plan to change for v0.9 (Sangin ). In fact I better put that down on the list of things that need to be done for v0.9, cheers!

as far as i know, all walls on custom houses (like asad khal) can get shot through with all kinds of guns, including lmgs.

the original models from bf2 don't support penetration of the wall (except thin parts).

not all no. It all depends on what material they are given. If we wanted to we could make any bullet pass though an entire building by giving it a material that was penetrable

What about explosions killing stuff behind walls?

its actually not hitbox lag, but compensation for lag. You already are behind something on your screen, but on their screen they still see you running and diving for the cover.

oooooh i didnt think anything could go through walls.Seems i under estimated what the PR team has done i didnt even think it was possable with the bf2 engine tbh other than the destructable buildings with tank shells ofc but not bullets

i consider all the destructable building types found on asad kal and kashan villages to be light cover. .50's can shoot thru it, LMGs have a chance, and even grenade/explosions can damage you thru the wall. something to keep in mind. it might not be entirely realistic, but thats the way it is in game. adapt and survive.

You need to know where your legs/feet are because if you are right up against a wall sometimes your feet/legs will show outside the wall and then anyone can shoot you.

ahh learn somthing new everyday, i normaly shout "u hacker i was behind the building and u still shot me" LOL

i think it can go trough some walls, but not the vbf2 houses, the custom breakable houses..
