I really need someone who knows how PR's patch is installed to tell me.

I KNOW I have PR installed. I can run it, it's just I can't play with the other people online.

Whenever I tried to install it it always says
*you do not have PR version 0.85 installed. Would you like to go to the download pages and install the fricken thing another million times?*

Can someone tell where in PR should I install the patch. Please...

You install PR to your root Battlefield 2 directory

ie:
C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2

what version of PR have you got installed now?

.86?

Did you download .86 core and .86 Levels?

The .86 patch only works if you have .85 installed, if not you need the core and the levels installers.

I downloaded the core and the levels from this website.

The patch does not see that I have...

You dont need to install the patch if you have already installed the v.86 Core and Levels.

Confirm you have this file in this location:
C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\levels\fallujah_west\client.zip

The 0.86 patch installer is looking for that file, specifcally:
<install path>\mods\pr\levels\fallujah_west\client.zip

So hence you need to ensure that the install directory is pointing towards your root bf2 dir

If that doesn't work, and you still have the 0.85 core + levels installers, do this:
Delete <bf2 dir>\mods\pr
Install 0.85 core (ensure the install path points to your root bf2 dir)
Install 0.85 levels (again, ensure the install path is your root bf2 dir)
Install 0.86 patch (and again, root bf2 dir)

EDIT: If you have installed 0.86 core + levels, you don't need the patch. The patch is for if you have 0.85 core + levels, hence the word "patch"

O.K., I tried to do as you said, it turned out I really didn't install the levels, I thought I did, I tried to install the levels in the levels folder, all I got was a folder that says 'Battlefield 2' on it...

What should I do????
