Reality Teamwork US Mumble Help Nights

The Reality Teamwork Servers, are the only servers which have a mumble rule, but we still sometimes struggle to fill our recently launched US server with Mumble Users early in the evening.

We want to get our US server established as soon as possible, so that it can be passworded in the same way that we have successfully passworded our EU server. The password leads to far better teamwork, and generally helps the experience.

We have a full guide to Mumble here :

www.realityteamwork.com/forum - click mumble button at the top

We also have an x-fire group here :

Reality Teamwork X-Fire group

If you have any problems installing Mumble, then please message me (space) or another admin in the X-Fire group ( They have RT Admin after their name ) We also often have a Mumble helper in our "Mumble help subchannel" which can be found in the RT Reality teamwork (North America) mumble channel.

We hope to see more of you guys joining the server, and experiencing the awesomeness of a full server on Mumble!!!

I've heard of very few people who have had problems, those that did, decreased the quality level to Teamspeak levels and were fine.

sound quality is much better and it does make the gameplay better. But i dont think it's easy to admin- so not something to use if you're a clan- unless ur on a tight budget.

The reason why those server require Mumble is its positional audio and not its good audio quality (which is surely another point). Positional audio means you can only hear the people near you. This is great to organise yourself with other squads. (Don't use Mumble for intern squad talk since the enemy near you will hear it too)
So in this context you can't compare Teamspeak and Mumble. They won't replace each other.

Mumble is an added bonus. Teamspeak and Mumble are different programs. With Mumble, you can hear the voice coming out of the soldier on the screen. So if everyones on mumble, like usually happens on the RT Mumble servers, you can walk up to the blue guy and talk to him.

Much Much Much better than typing out that theres an enemy behind the wall :P You can just tell him. Or tell the pilot where you want to land, or the APC to watch over you. etc.

Teamspeak is just for clans and group of friends wanting to talk to each other. But Mumble is a nice added bonus over VOIP.
