So every since I fixed pr.exe........ every time I play the game in the normal 1280x1024 resolution by BF2 default.......I quite the game and I have my display settings to 1440x900 always. Everything is fine until I restart the computer and my resolution turns to 1280x1024 or other wierd resolutions. It gets really annoying having to change it back to 1440x900. I don't know what the problem is....and I have Vista which is probably why, but I have a feeling this is also a big problem because I cant even use Xfire in game chat or nothing anymore it just crashes the game........and sometimes when I ATL TAB the game crashes.....and it especially crashes when loading maps after a round is done.....=(

Any suggestions?

+szx 1400 +szy 900

and it'll load it no matter the ingame setting

or its probably something to do with ur cache files, I always found bf2 refused to change settings unless I delete the cache files and reoptimised shaders at the same time.

Ok where can I find those? btw forgot to mention there is a wierd error that also pops up before I login too...........It says..............(LOCERROR_unable to open current profile)....which is really wierd because I have my profile and it works all the time.

I typed that thing for startup...doesn't do anything just loads PR screen and crashes. I deleted my cache files too.
