Taliban Civilian Suggestion

A report on Channel 4 news right now, after an ambush:
Latvian soldiers are angry, they spotted 3 men in the hills earlier in the day, but could not engage, as they could not see any weapons. But they could've been hidden in the rocks
For any small Afghan maps in the pipeline, or possibly Korengal, what does the community think with regards to a Taliban Civilian class, with the same penalities for killing them, that can request light weapons from 'small' weapons caches or ammo boxes, which are commander, SL, or mapper placed, or Regular caches?
(Obviously, when armed, they would forgo the civilian protection)

Just a thought.

I think that would help create the randomness of insurgency fights even more! I mean that it will improve the randomness!

If you were going to implement this it would also necessitate being able to request a civi kit from caches, to simulate dropping your weapon.

I like this suggestion as long as they keep their armed medic, and the civie is untouchable until he is considered hostile. For example, the coalition can't just knife/restrain him for no reason.

lol yea sorry! I think my english module had a malfunction when I posted this...

What I mean, in real life insurgency fights (patrolling a city that has insurgents in them) its quite hard to see who they are. So when you unarmed civilians near you, and suddenly they wip out guns and start shooting at you, that kind of makes it more like a real situation.

It also makes you want to at least try and arrest them. You never know when they wip out weapons. Witch in turn, should make the collaborator class more fun to play because you can try and ambush the army soldiers better.

It sounds awesome, but in PR there's no real civilians and you'd know every civilian would whip out guns blazing.
It would work with civilian bots, but that don't work.
But if there were a way to implement that uncertainty -> awesome.
However, it sounds like a totally different gamemode than cache hunting.
