Low Spawntimer for civis when killed with Hands up

Hey,
I understand that you have the high spawn timer for civis, that they dont be Human shields.
I think the coaltionsforces should check their Fire if they see an Civi with Hands up, but they normaly still shoot and you get a 120s timer. So i suggest an 10s or maybe 20s timer when you get killed while having your hands up. (And no one use his knife anymore to arrest civis, they just shoot them. Maybe fix it here

)

Then they would just leave their lands up and run into enemy fire. They would have a low spawn time and the US would get punished. I think the answer is to abolish the kit.

actually, you can't run with hands up. could be worth looking into.
maybe 5 or 10 seconds after you put hands up, regardless of earlier ROE since it signals your surrender. even if you healed someone before, if you put your hands up, they can't shoot you.
maybe if they disabled running for 5 seconds after hands up, meaning a person would use hands up to actually surrender and couldn't put hands up and then just run away.

limit civi to one per squad.
lower spawn time to normal INS when ever killed.
give the US the spawn previous civi spawn time.
done and done.

no it isnt, collaborators are still going to run into a firefight.

there will only be a max of 9 on the field (more likely about 5) which will actually now be used as squad medics etc. if one or two do decide that well they are punishing there squad and would be more use to there squad and themselfs to work as a squad medic/spotter.

well thats upto the DEVs to decide, if they want a "civi" kit still, make it playable at least.

yes, and if you make it outside ROE to shoot them with hands up and arrests lead to low spawn times then it is playable.
civilians will prefer getting arrested to getting shot and with the hands up outside of ROE it will give them the chance to be arrested rather than shot.
blocking them from sprinting after hands up means the blufor can actually arrest them once they surrender.

well thats a very good idea. so the civi wont run into a firefight anymore but i dont think that anybody lets himself being arrested controlled. The point would then be to prevent the US shooting them, perhaps again a bigger punishement if they shoot them. so it would be a "compromise" for being in a bad sitution as a civi.
edit: dont forget the aspect of affranchise civilians who are being opressed by the taliban etc it would be positive for both the us and the civi to get arrested...

I just mean its annoying playing as Civie, cause no matter what happens you still have a 2min+ spawn time. I say if you are arrested or killed under ROE (legally) then you should have a smaller respawn time. Just to make it less annoying to play. That way you can play legit medic if you want, and you don't have to worry about a MASSIVE respawn time if you get killed. however if you get yourself shot, then you have a long respawn time.

They are not civlians , they are collaborators. They work with or are associated with the enemy. If they are shot they deserve the spawn time for being silly and running into a hail of bullets.

i agree, but not when they are actively collaborating, I.E. Shot under the ROE (like right after healing someone)

Whatever happens, the punishments for shooting an innocent, cuddly civi have to be personal.
I think this is the key really. However realism-loving and teamwork-cockslapping they might be, 70% of PR players seem to enjoy shooting civilians in any situation. They don't care if they lose intel points, they just find it funny to shoot someone who can't shoot back because PR is still a game, and they probably find it even more funny that the guy not only gets a bullet in the chest, he then has to wait 2 minutes to spawn again.
Give them the same kind of punishment after they shoot a civi - eg a massive spawn time, and a kicking system like teamkills, and people might think twice about popping some rounds into any Iraqi chap's buttocks.
Otherwise, the civi will remain a class that's a nightmare to play in public servers.

I know that it was in previous releases but bring back the court marshall. For example if you kill 3 civis in one round then you should be banned from the server for the next round. This would defo make people stop killing civis as then u and ur mates would have to change server if they wanted to carry on playing as a group

" .and they dont give a shit about the mosk either . 2 days ago i witnessed a cold blooded murder lol there was a sq camping out of the mosk , gess what they were doing ? they were killing ppl inside mosk dont matter it was a civil or bad guys . i gess civil need to start wearing a sigh says : " hey dont shoot , i've got a wife and kids " . that is funny but well what can u do

Even if they are, the blufor are usually to lazy to chase them down and just end up shooting them. Happens every time i play civi.
