From a soon-to-be-spawned Insurgent perspective, how can you tell which spawn is the main base? ( for the specialist kits )

You can request kits from every cache, there isn't really a "main base" for insurgents other than heavily fortified positions with lots of players defending. A cache position can act like a main base.

wait...... you can request kits as insurgents?

I assume he means Taliban. Insurgents only have pick-up kits at their caches.

For the Urban INS you can tell their main because it has the only perm spawn point.

ok thats what i thought..... for a second i felt like I had missed out on a huge part of insurgency.....

As a insurgent your "main" is usually the mosque or a vehicle depot on the far corner of the map

Guys, he's not mentioned the word request once, please read the one and a bit line question before diving in with a response.

On maps like Karbala, Basrah etc the insurgents often get some pick up kits, usually located at a 'main' base on the maps, i.e. the Mosques on the maps in question, but not always so.

I've never seen Pick-up kits spawning anyywhere except Caches...

taliban can request kits from caches, but urban INS cannot

He mentioned "specialist kit" use common sense before driving in and save the day.

It is stated in the manual that insurgents have available pick-up specialist kits in their main base, I've seen it for example on Basra map, where kits spawn in mosque near these stall things.

So lets narrow things down, where to spawn in Korengal Valley to get a specialist kit?

Korengal has the Taliban on the map. You need to spawn at a cache and request a kit with 'T' comm-rose.

I would call the artillery IEDs and the lee enfield snipers, SVDs, RPGs, SA7s etc available to the insurgents on some maps as pick up kits at their mains as specialist kits.

Although, obviously given the further information he was more concerned with the Taliban, at the time I wrote the above there was not reason to think so. Your information was I believe incorrect, insurgents cannot requests kits from weapons caches, only use the pick up kits that spawn.

Although in retrospect your advice was more useful
