Hey Community
Im not on the forums often but iv had an idea, i hope its not a repost.
The combinations of Mumble and PR is a really awesome and brings to the new a whole new level of emerssion.
My idea is to have a lightly scripted event (scripted in the sense of roles and actors) if possible written by someone with extensive knowledge of a combat scenerio. The idea is to create a sitution in which players can feel as if they where playing through a scripted single player situation aka CoD style, but be surrounded by other players in a predictable scenario.
The only people with acess to the script will be the commanders, to the rest of the team, the whole thing could seem random.
Example: Map - Al Basrah
Mission one arrest insurgent leader help up in safe house and destroy scripted weapon piles.
The insurgency teams will take positions in set locations waiting for or unaware of a blue for operation. Bluefor will then advance as a large team in fairly scripted sequences the arrest could take place as a suprise or however the script details. We could use real world military tactics, a clearing and arrest team. other squads covering, a convoy to escort prisoner, even have civilians acting roles around the town or hav family members with the warlord during his arrest. Any detail could be changed even getting all insurgency to use weapons on fully auto as they are know to do.
The mission could then progress to destroy the caches or whatever the writer thinks is best.
This type of gameplay can also encourage players or "actors" to use similar tactics in public matches.
Please discuss, i would love to see this come alive, espeically using mumble.
