just wondering if you guys might move this map into the list of maps for the mod in a future release? its actually done pretty nicely... its not as big as it should be but its still pretty nice.

Black hawk down...map? what map would this be then?

If im assuming corredtly i would think he is refering to a very tight, close quarters combat, in a somalian city with a Downed blackhawk in the middle...to do this though i think we would have to create a whole new team or make a whole new storyline(between U.S. and MEC)

Sorry to hijack a thread, but I'd love the idea of a US embassy under attack by the MEC and the MEC have say 15 minutes to capture the top of the building before a Marine exfil chopper arrives. (Sort of like 'Rules of Engagement')

There is a 'Black Hawk Down' map. However, it is single player only. For anyone who's interested:

Every game from now to eternity will have people who want a black hawk down map or a whole mod. The biggest problem with this is that almost everyone saw the movie or read the book. I read the book twice and can't count how many time I saw the movie.

This will give everyone a diffent idea as to how they want the map to look or how they want it to play.

we *may* use the BHD map in 0.4.

we *may* have an intersting surprise for how we use that map.

im not suggesting a separate blackhawk down mod/map. There already is a map called Operation Black Hawk Down, its not only single player as I have played it on reg bf2 servers before. Its a really good map actually, yeah it should be a bit bigger but nothing can be perfect. Its a good map for use of the blackhawks and infantry battles.

But if what your *suggesting* that you guys *may* have a map already then great. Just was suggesting that you could maybe use this map in the mod as I know it would be awsome to play.
