Is there anyway to give the squad leader and commander binoculars with any kit since they need it the most out of any body. I usually pic the spec ops kit for the binocs so I can point out enemies down ragne before we attack or to call in pinpoint arty, supply drops, and tanks etc.

Commander should usually be engineer, so it would help with him also.

SL and Commanders can have binocs if they go Spec or sniper
However, I do not know if you can give them binocs just for being SL or Commander.

it can be done through things like spawning a pickup kit near their position, and killing them if they don't pick it up within a period of time. kinda clunky.

Or we can do a thing where the *next* time they respawn they are forced into a Squad Leader kit, but we can't force a kit upon a live player.

It's *really* unfortunate, because being able to force a kit on a live player would open up lots of possibilities.

pickup kits are problematic anyways, we're still working through some issues.
