Very simple solution, don't do either of those things! You don't have to be there to repair, you can be within quite a large radius to repair/re-arm.

If it happens by an accident, your screwed.. that's the point of this thread.

what you need to do is get a second vehicle behind it, jump on that then jump on the tank, then you can enter via the top.

cheers for the info, not sure how it can be fixed other than making the vehicle col mesh for it smaller so a tank can't go there but ye, not something that urgent to look into.
