Bipod for riflemen kit ?

kay, so as usual, i always kill my time on military forums and look up random photo's of anything military. In alot of photo's of US personnel or at least the ones i've seen, alot of the soldiers seem to have grip pods (essentially a bipod within a front grip). did some little research to find out that the both the Army and the Marines have adopted the grip pod. right now im thinking whether this should be implemented into PR as it has been done irl - but it also makes me think, is giving the riflemen kit a bipod a good thing or a bad thing ?
EDIT TIME

so im just gonna post a few pictures just for people who don't know how it looks like to get an idea of what the grip pod is

I'd agree that I'd seen a few of those in photos recently. Personally, grip/bipod combos are the ugliest rail mount item in the world to me (rather have a bigger rail and throw both on), but if it's realisitic it's realisitc.

I see a lot of pics where they have a bipod or a foregrip, or both mounted to the rails, more than I see the Gripod. But a bipod would be a nice addition, maybe make it a limited kit? SDM with an M4/ACOG??

Its a vertical grip with a retractable bipod in it. No doubt it will be a standart feature for soldiers in theather

Gripod is (now anyways) a standard issue item.

Things dont have to look good in order to function

We already have the designated marksman kit that will soon have a bipod attachment (see Dev Blogs). I really can't see the need to equip every soldier with a gripod, even if it is realistic I wonder how it would translate to gameplay.
Would mean even more "snipey" type contact from the US forces which is not something that should be encouraged as that kind of single shot engagement is not realistic, and we have enough of it already.

WTF?,thats a bit BS isnt it?
Anyway,if i see this ingame im gonna choke on my breath (ya rly)
Tough it might be realistic it look really bad,and in PR it will mostly be a cosmetic change only, and a bad one.
Either put a front grip or a bipod on but not that fugly thingy

That would be a nice addition - but wouldn't that in some way replace the existing SDM with the M14 ? imo if the bipod/grip pod is going to be used in PR, it should be implemented on most riflemen kits. Jigsaw-UK said it would encourage the riflemen to take on some what of a "sniper" role which is something that i wouldn't want to encourage. The sole purpose of the grip pod or lets just say the bipod would be for a quick stabilization if of the weapon if the riflemen or the squad were to have to engage a target at a long range or were to be stationed on a roof and were to engage targets.

That's what she said.
But seriously, if the bipod isn't standard issue I don't think it should be added. I like the kits representing the majority of actual kit loadouts, being standarized and such.

i don't think the riflemen should have the functionality from a balance standpoint. Besides I don't like it

And people complain sometimes that it is hard playing an insurgent. You're starting to see how it could be much harder, "snipey" feel you say? Now you know how they feel, with every freaking Marine trained to hit a target with iron sights at 500yrds, then given a scope (RCO) that they are highly trained to shoot at 800m, plus every Marine with a bipod. Yeah, we are nasty and kill everything we shoot at for a reason.
Just be glad the developers sacrifice some realism for gameplay otherwise, this is exactly what would happen, US would be ridiculously OP, because we are in real life.
That being said, I do not think this should be implemented for the sake of gameplay. I rarely think that, but everyone having some sort stabilization system would kill everything and people will not want to play. Correction, they will only want to play US.

Lol.... no thanks I'll do what i want to do and also to "its a respect thing" i fell out of my chair laughing so hard.
Just because someone does not capitalize a letter you think its disrespectful? I think asking for respect is disrespectful you should be ashamed.
GOOD DAY SIR!
