This would be an interesting, and realistic, vehicle to have in the mod. It could change the dynamics of maps like Muttrah City.

It would be nice with a map simulating an invasion using AAAV's deployed from ships beyond the horizon. People could spawn in AAAVs by the edge of the map in the sea, and then attack a beachhead.

For those who don't know the Acronym, it's "Advanced Amphibious Assault Vehicle".

Just FYI, the Advanced Amphibious Assault Vehicle has been redesignated the Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle (EFV).

The EFV hasn't yet been fielded, but the AAVP7A1 might make an appearance in the mod, though.

Id rather see the AAV7. The AAAV is more like the LAV. What the US needs is an APC that isnt going to stop troops and vehicles like the LAV currently dose. I lighter APC, for infantry orientated maps, such as karkand and muttrah.

Agreed. We need less mini-tanks.

I hate the APC's on vBF2 at the moment, replace the BTR-90 with a rocketless version or somethink.

Yes but the REAL BTR-90 has a grenade launcher mounted on it. I say keep the missles and avoid more gun system ******.
