the title says it all, the new respawn kill timer is a pain in the arse, for me a real "showstopper" :d uh:

on a full server i get easy a penalty from 20 or more sec.

Die less - and work in a squad so you get revived more. And if you want 20second respawn times - go boot up nilla

I really dont have a problem with the current system works well enough for me, not so long that i get bored but long enough to not want to die

the words that you are useing shows me no reason why to change it. Stop dieing then you wont need to spawn in the first place.

I hope that it doesnt get changed. I came on here expecting more of a challange and this is part of it. If you dont like it I would say its time to adapt or move on.
But thats just my two cents

A lot of the changes in PRMM are aimed to make players value their life more, to try and move gameplay away from what it's become in vanilla. If you have better suggestions than what we've done, feel free to post them.
Constructive criticism is good, but if you just post "OMG IT ARE TEH SUX!" it'll just get ignored.

I think the spawn timer works fine, I usually have such good medics in my squad I don't seee anything past a 10 second spawn time, ever.

I hate to say its true that there arent a lot of medics but I know it is. I can handle playing on the USMC side but the AK on the Mec or Chinese side I can never get acustomed to.

I've got used to not swapping squads when i am dead, starting to remember to when i am alive!!! the spawn times are fine, find better people to play with if you are getting desperate, it's obviously the lack of teamwork amongst the people you are playing with thats at fault. no medics mean long spawn times!

I normally die quite a fair bit, but due to the medics I'm yet to see a timer increase over 10, it's normally 5 at most. I spend most of my time as a medic and the squads I play with almost always guarantee that someone will take my kit when i die and revive me. The only time I see a high kill timer is when I do a bit of covering with the sniper kit or I'm piloting a vehicle, the only real times I'm isolated from a squad or there's a complete certainty I'll die (dying in a vehicle is sudden death).
I like it the way it is.

Ok, maybe it has it's reasons but I was sat for a good 50 seconds each time waiting to respawn on Abadan and then some *** hat comes and shoots me at spawn with an APC.
I know the respawn time is up to servers, but this new time whatever you got, kinda dissapointing. Maybe you could say you're flushing out the 'bad apples' but this time is long..........

And yes, the onlytime it sucks is when you get spawncamped.

I like it. Kind of simulates attrition because the more you kill them the more they have to wait, and gives you an advantage. Hope it stays.

I'm feeling only one problem with the growing respawn times: it raises the unbalance when one team is weaker than the other. Because the weaker side will die more, they'll stay idle for longer, than become even weaker, die more, more idleing and so on... a vicious cycle...
It's fine that PRMM has a longer respawn time than vanilla, but keep it growing is kinda unballancing gameplay...
