Shock, Suppression, Fatigue- Rolled

The idea is rolling these three into one category and making a result.
That result would be that the player will be forced to stay prone.
It would be a total revamp of the stamina effects.
General List of Feature:
- Once the player cannot achieve the level of stamina required to stand they are not allowed to do so.
- Once stamina levels are depleted the player cannot stand until his stamina levels increase.
Certain things or combinations of things would determine this state.
Detailed List of Feature:
- Normal effects such as running or jumping lower stamina less so than current rates.
- After each shot a player receives his stamina level is reduced(damaged if possible).
- Being in the area of a blast radius lowers stamina rates after each blast.
- Grenades, satchels, tank rounds, and bombs dropped from planes can directly affect a target's stamina.
- Enough fire to an area will effectively force a player to be pinned down and unable to get up.
- Stamina increases faster than current rate if the player is not running, taking fire, or directly in the area of an explosion.
These changes alone allow things that have only been done before in strategy games. It would change the battlefield (pun intended).

Me too. I don't like the idea to be near unable to move.
I just think of extreme spawnraping because you just (have to) fall down only able to crawl, so you can't retreat or take cover!
But link the "stamina bar" also to the accuracy of your gun with those effects (mentioned above) altering your stamina would be nice.
The less stamina the less accurate your weapon will be.
You can give effective covering fire and your enemy is not completly out of action because he can still move and retreat to recover!
It would also be cool when your stamina can't reach full level anymore when you are injured!

Totally agree with Copy_of_Blah here. I've been to the army and know exactly what it feels like to hit the dirt and then try to get up again even with just 10 kg on your back. It's a pain in the ***.
So, the stamina should decrease if you get up quick, and only reduce a little bit if you first get on your knee, and from there up. The times on getting up / go prone or being able to shoot should be increased.
Also you shouldn't be able to jump at all or get up if you just don't have a certain level of stamina (e.g. 40% for jumping and 25% for getting up, and this may vary between different classes). It's just plain realism! Try jumping yourself with 20 kg on your back (these soldiers carry more but are trained for it).
Also the recoil should be greater, the less stamina you get left. Aiming isn't easy at all when you are breathing heavily, at least not to 150 meters, that I know by experience.
Fast movement in prone position should be also introduced. It should spend stamina a little bit less than for running though.

as for the running so long that you can't even stand anymore, well lets just say that I've never seen a round so long that a soldier (even if you would survive one round before dying, and you would run all the time) couldn't stand after running for that amount of time.
MisterOizo, your stamina shouldn't affect the recoil of the gun. It should however affect the accuracy of your shots.

You know what I mean, the effect of it should be emphasized..

It would certainly slow the pace of gameplay down again, I kinda like the idea.

How tired would you have to be not to be able to stand up.
I do not like the idea, sounds like some board game die rolling stuff.

I have one thing to add to this, once you are critically wounded (funky vision/coughing) you also go prone and can't get up.

i dunno about you guys, but when i get shot at, i dont go prone and wait for everything to go away. if anything, i run faster than i normally do.
adrenaline kicks in, and the fear of dieing.

yeah I suggested this before. It would be nice, but only so that it happens when you have taken a lot of damage, so that you have maybe like 10% of health left.

When talking about critically wounded... please remove the coughing! The blurry view was a good idea...
