I'm sure there is a post/page somewhere on this site explaining my question, but I could not find it (granted I didn't look very hard). Anyways, I was curious. After you download the PR mod and activate it or whatever you have to do, can you go back to the regular BF2, or are you stuck with PR forever unless you uninstall it or something? Thank you for any future info!!

PR is built off BF2. You can still play BF2 by using the BF2 Icon. to play pr just use the pr.exe :D

since PR is a mod, it uses BF2 as a base game. without it, PR wouldn't exist. :p

Well, I had a Scrim with my Clan the other night in vBF2.. I have to say, I'm more of a Auto Rifleman, and, everything in vBF2 is REALLY unaccurate compared to the deviation in PR and so forth. I think I might stick with PR ;)

Yes, you can switch back seamlessly. I just use 2 different accounts as the PR settings turn the crosshair invisible and turn off auto-reload. I routinely play both in one night as most of my clan are still kicking around in the Road Jalalabad INF only scene.

And yes, you can score well in both if you just remember to utilize the distinct tactics required for the different styles of play.

Outscoring my clan mate =OSS*ROID= .

Don't worry mate, PR installs to a seperate folder in the BF2 directory (bf2/mods), so its insulated from your original game.

Oh they fixed that bit where PR overwrote your vbf2 shaders file or something? It used to always kick me from normal servers for "altering core game files"
