107mm Rockets, IDF, IRAM.

Upon returning from Afghan I noticed a big part missing from PR, where are the rocket attacks?! lol. They love the indirect fire and there is hardly any of it in PR.
I had a quick browse through the sugestion thread and didn't see one so I thought I'd bring it up. Put it in its own kit or use it to supplement one of the other kits.
in southern Afghan they set them up on rocks, hills, sand and anything it can rest on, point it in the general direction and fire away. In game could be used to create a fire-lane on a road, disrupt a FOB, etc. (add one of those goofy alarms "rocket attack!"
Could be simple as creating a new model for it and using a modified chopper weapon to launch from the ground.
Anyway thats my 5 cents thanks for listening.

If someone was willing to model this I would definitely like to see it ingame. There have been numerous attacks with 107mm rockets, at least in Helmand

Would it work to just take a rocket pod (child) off a helicopter and then have a few wires coming off it, which would be added in 3Ds? if so i could give this a go

So is it going to be an emplacement or is it going to be on top of vehicles? I mean British soldiers have destroyed vehicles with 107mm rockets mounted in them

I like the idea of being able to setup one off rockets and watch them flail off in a random direction like they do in real life, where we are they hit the town half the time rather then the camp rofl.
Place on the ground, no aiming markers or anything, all guess work with deviation and let the hilarity ensue.

*whinge whinge whinge* "admin, the other team are baseraping with rockets, wah wah wah"
That's all I can see coming from this. I for one couldn't give a toss about baseraping, it happens IRL, so have no problems with it in PR. Others do though because they cry when they have to wait 30 seconds to respawn.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. But really if you are on Brit/US side and the Ins/Taliban hit you with a rocket that first off didn't crash into the ground infront of him or shoot off in the wrong direction, you've got to think "oh well we've got aircraft, tanks and armored vehicles. One of his classes has a rifle made in the 50's and a pocket full of rocks...good on him." lol surely a community as mature as this can see the fairness in that.

as long as the rocks are armour peicing i see it as fair
I would love to see this. Since some of those guys already carry around Artillery shells (150 mm?) that weigh alot i don't have any problem with a guy carrying around a rocket with a stand. Could be fun to setup a battery of those and make some home made arty

would be nice it if it was a single fire deployable.

With 30 second timer, and 1 rocket per strike?

1 point for each !
A single fire deployable for talibans manually aimed and fired remoted or at delay.

IRL the success rate of those things is kinda low, Idk about introducing something that will land a hit one time out of 20 or so.
