Ammo crate = Explosive!

I'm kind of informed that commander assets are hardcoded. To what degree I am not.

Could the dropped ammo crate be changed to have an explosion if destroyed instead of just breaking apart? Or would that kill the poor guy who got the last mag :-D ?

I not familiar with the safety measures employed there, but it doesn't look like it's good cover.

Well, they also blow up when they are deplated of ammo.

So if you had like 5 guys trying to get amo around it, then when it looses all of its ammo it has a big BOOM to it, It might just get a little pissing off if your whole squad was wiped out cos you depleated the ammo from a crate....

Hah, that wouldn't be good! Yes, I didn't know if there was a way to set the destruction on an object depending on how it got destroyed. Destroyed equals destroyed in BF2 I gather. It's been a while since I opened the editor.

Yes, because in real life it is a fairly well-known problem that wooden crates, upon removing the last item contained in them, will just randomly blow up, killing / hurting all bystanders.

A better ? is can we remodel it to look like the M.O.A.B. and program it to just drop like a bomb.
