Iv searched on the suggestions and found nothing so here goes.


Since the Medic kit has become a limited kit, and at time we get the medic bug in the squad, not allowing the squad to request a medic for the entire game, i thought that the squad leader could serve another great purpose by being able to request a medic, the same way he requests for supplies and for a chopper, etc. (marker will show up on the map)

I see a few problems with this, but maybe it could work very well.

If you think about it, if your squad does not have a medic for whatever reason, aside from stupidity, but your squad needs a medic immediately, if the SL requests for medic support, another medic from another squad might be able to assist.

Requesting for a medic by just shouting works somewhat, but alot of times, the medics just walk right past you. An attentive SL who sees that a squad is in trouble and needs a medic can send his medic to the point where the SL in need requested it, and there will be little discussion as to where the medic should go because the request for medic mark will be on the map.



To avoid the spam of needlessly having a medic go otu to help a one man squad SL, we could limit that option for a SL with a officer kit (obviously) and who has at least 5 people in his squad.


That map medic marker could make the medic alot more appreciated than he already is, and it puts the SLs to be more attentive to whats going on on the battlefield, and it encourages teamwork.


Still, i know there might be a few problems with it, perhaps somebod might be able to help me polish up this idea. Whatcha think?

Kinda Like the supply request but for a medevac or universal 'starlight' icon instead.

Umm i coulda swore its in game already and I remember reading about it and at one point I thought I saw it.

its ingame, right click on give up, and all medics will see your body on their map

Yes, but thats for the medics to see only, and very briefly. If a SL puts a marker on the map for all to see, then the other SL will react accordingly, if he can, if hes not busy, if hes got a medic to spare, etc.

It might improve upon the medics role to support other squads rather than just their own when there not doing anything.

Well if everybody played on mumble on the servers then this could be solved. Ordinarly when playing on mumble only servers i find that i regularly have to save people from other squads. Its either when the squad ive been in is working with another and everybody except me has been killed (happened 4 times to me so far. Lucky :S) or sometimes i might have to tend to another squad whos medic got killed.

Mumble does not really work in Pub games, unless every one is using it not very effective. and the mater of fact we should not have to use mumble to find wounded player i mean come on the simple fact we have to use a 3d party program just to find a wouned player is just bull.
we should be able to call for a medic as many times as we like, insaid of just twice.
