Ok, so im new here and yet to download the PR mod. I've got a question. When i download PR and i install it does it install as a different game to Battlefield 2 or does it install over it? if that makes sense? In other words can i still play Battlefield 2 when i have installed PR? Thanks.

PR(and all other MODs) will be installed as a separate game. You can still play vBF2.
PR can however interfere with some of your settings, crosshair color for example, so some people prefer to use a 2nd account when playing PR.

And mind you that PR doesn't work with BF2 1.5 at this point, so if you have patched your game I recommend you wait for PR v0.87, which shouldn't be far off now.

Thanks for your reply, i just installed the 1.50 patch about 20 minutes ago haha.

Download and install PR anyway. The 0.87 update will only be a couple of Megabytes and requires 0.86 to be installed anyway. So go ahead and download 0.86 now and 0.87 when it comes out (within the next few days).

currently you cannot play PR on battlefiled 2 v1.5 you need v1.41 or wait for project reality v0.87 patch, it will make project reality compatible with battlefield 1.5

Yup, if you've got BF2 1.5 already, just wait on 0.87, which'll be out by the end of the week hopefully. Otherwise, if you've already downloaded 0.86, then the 0.87 patch is only around 10 mb supposedly

Also, when installing, remember to have the correct patch for BF2 (1.5 WON'T work with 0.86, but it will with 0.87), and that you install both prcore and prlevels. You'll know you've installed it correctly when you get the shortcut to appear

Finally, please take a moment to read the included PDF manual, as PR is a very hard game on beginners. That way you'll adjust yourself to most new changes, and players will be more cooperative in helping you when they know you've already taken some steps to learning the game on your own

And get a decent nickname.

If you're fresh off the BF2 battlefields, you'll find things are a bit different in PR. Read some of the sticky's and talk to some of the regular players. When you login to a server for online play, see if you can hook up with one of your new PR friends and join a squad, even if it's just for that day. Learn to play as a team member (IF you don't already know), and you'll find your experience here to be VERY rewarding!
