A question about 0.87
Is the prone deviation been added to 0.87
Has the improved hit detection been added?

The 1.5 patch supposedly fixed that which translates into PR as well, unless I am mistaken. So blunt answer, YES.
I'll keep my opinion on what EA's definition of fixed is though...

people can STILL dolphin dive with 1.5. I actually face palmed when i had someone do it to me.

I can't believe what I saw 5 times in a row, 5 guys jumped. went prone in midair, and I shot them dead... How stupid is that
was in VBF2 by the way NOT PR! lol

The coding behind it works like this....
- BF2 "when the player jumps, add X deviation"
- BF2 with the 1.5 patch "when the player jumps or goes prone, add X deviation"
In PR, we already have that value set higher for all weapons compared to vBF2. So the prone deviation will still be harsher in 0.87 than it is in vBF2 1.5 (<100m engagements will see a significant improvement).
For the releases following 0.87, we'll make it so that shooting within 2 or 3 seconds of going prone will be absolutely pointless.
