OK, so pretty much every PR player will be getting the following problem. You load PR, and your faced with a black screen, nothing happens. The problem:

One of the main PR servers is down. This is the server used for various things in the main menu such as the news ticker. It is trying to load the news ticker, but it is not timing out in a timely fashion, hence it's just a black screen.

There is no fix, other than wait for the server to come back up. It's pretty bad since we just released a new patch, and now you can't play it. Trust me, we feel your pain. Hopefully it will be fixed before most of you see this message.

Ok, good to know that it´s nothing wrong with the installation.
(Btw ..PRSP still works)

Hmm wish I'd seen this before I thought it was my install and un-installed everything. Oh well a fresh install is always fun

I disabled , RAMs, clean OS install, "used" 75 cL of whiskey, went mad.

Great mate, got a clan match tomorrow =fu= vs rip hope it is fixed by then.

Ah, too bad but at least it's not our PC's.

Ohh.. this would explain why i get to the menu and the place where the videos normally are, is now a black space, and then it "does not respond". Nearly re-installed bf2 then. Thank you for clearing this up=].,
