That didn't really explain or help me with anything. Plus, my Windows is legit. It mentioned anti-virus, but is that the problem?

Legit is good information - i'm looking further into it..

Have you installed a 1.50Beta before?

No, never. I heard it maybe that I am running it in compatability mode with Windows XP, so I am trying it now without that. I also am trying it with and without my firewall, but I dont think that is the problem.

It might be a problem with Install Shield Installer look for an InstallShield Folder and rename it by just putting "old" at the end of that folder name

Or try to install patch in safe mode...

How do I do safe mode?

Try InstallShield Folder rename first please :-)

Safe mode: Boot, after Boot Messages press F8 (watch for the right moment cuz with new mainboards it's Bootselect key sometimes), then choose safemode

Ok, nvm just tried the safe mode and it didn't work, same message. I also tried to install 1.4 again to see if I could install previous versions and same message, so I think it is the install shield. Do you know where the install shield would be? Gonna google it myself, but want to make sure its the correct place.

C:\Program Files\Common Files (X86)\InstallShield <- Rename this to InstallShieldold

when you run 1.50 patch it should make a new folder...

!!! Leave this untouched at first - contains numbered folders
C:\Program Files\Common Files (X86)\InstallShield Installation Information

That seems to be doing it. Installing right now. Thanks for the help! Wish this forum had reps so I could rep you lol.

So I assume I just leave the InstallShieldold where it is then right?

yep leave it - even if it just contains information about the InstallShield itself - info about installed stuff should be in the other folder...

Enjoy! :-)
