Weapons - Differences

HI!
In my threads bevore i asked for a list with Weapon Values with no response.
Perhaps it is possible to say wich Weapons has with Value with words
Here my subjektive experience:
Medic and Assault have the same Weapons, but i feel Assault Weapons makes more damgage ..
Assault USA makes more Damage the MEC/Chinese ?
Btw.. Assault has better Armor then Medic, wich armor has Supply, Special ect.. ?

I think for what one gun does bad in another part of it makes up for it. Such as the AK for MEC Medic is poor at long distance but the US counter part is poor at close range if you catch my drift? and if a gun has less damage then its recovery tends to be better just to make us for the damage, I'm starting to loose myself so I'l stop now.

it should be the opposite though, i do beleive that AKs are more accurate at long range then m-16s. i watched something on discovery channel or history and it was the AK-47 vs. the M-16, but they were using veitnam era weapons so things could be diffferent now.
anyways garack ill talk to egg or someone, because i wonder the same thing, which classes have armour and how the sprint is represented and so on.

You'd think an AK would be better close range, but me and a bunch of other people seem to fair better with the M16's 3shot burst.

M-16 is good for stand off shots in PR, its easier to fire follow up shots with it as the recoil is light.
Ak-101 is almost as good as the M-16 but its seems to have more recoil and after the first shot quick shots are harder to place. It has full auto, which works great for close up fighting.
Ak-47 is still good, I find it easier to fire in single shot than the 101 and still has the full auto for close up.
Over all I use the M-16 and If I'm on a non US team I wont hesitate to pick up a dead players M-16. It just owns.

I saw that! An AK shot through a tree!!! The AK is so much stronger then the M16 its scary....

Hm, actually now I think the M16s burst will empty faster than an AKs ... I'm gonna go test that out real quick.

Seeing the effect they both have on ballistic gel is scary, i dont get how anyone survives geting hit by one of those things..

I've found that the Chinese struggle on a map like Jungle Fever due to the US side having their M16's on single shot and its awesome accuracy. A lot more strategy involved as a Chinese Assault or Medic. Their Support lmg is deadly accurate tho but I refuse to use it so I continue to struggle with the AK at any sort of distance.

The AK is actually really accurate, but only on the first shot.
The AK is overpowered in real life. Literally overpowered. Because the Russians fought on some pretty shit terrain, the only solution the engineers could come up with to stop it from jamming was to give it excessive power. The bullet moves fast enough to clear dirt in the weapon and the bolt can eject casings while covered in snow. As a result, it has excessive recoil.
So the AK is very reliable, very powerful, but has shit accuracy after the first shot.

ahh that would exspain alot. And it was 1 main guy who invented the AK-47

but no dout others helped

I've watched uhg, I don't know what it's called off the top of my head, it was on IFC, but it was called "Automat Klanishicov (sorry for my horrible russain spelling

) but it was all about the man who invented the AK-47 (Klarishnikov (sp?)) and it showed how you can do basicly anything to that gun and it will still fire, and if you break a part, that it is incredibly easy to reproduce. id say the AK47 is as durible and long lasting as the US' A-10 Thunderbolt.

AK47 can shoot through a tree/ thin walls.
like to see this penetration ability replicated in this mod. it is reality.

i cant find much info on the 7.62 round to back this up, but im sure a 7.62 can go through a brick wall at a 1mile.
its reliablity is the cause of its lack of accuracy, all the parts are losely fitting meaning it can be full of sand/mud/water and keep firing, but the parts aint as well machined as the nato rifle, but the soviets didnt care their doctrine was to pull up in a apc and hose the area down with 7.62 rounds as that much lead could only be a good thing.
i watch alot of programs about weapon systems, and alot of time these programs contridict each other its hard to build up a accurate picture of these weapon with out using them

What values have the devs changed in the Game, not in real life..
Can anyone give me some facts..Values that show acc.,damage ect..
Like the wiki-Bf2 in the link, but for Prmm.

I'm guessing from the fact the DEVs have not posted, that they do not wish to divulge this information.
Probably this is self preservation - not letting another mod get their secrets. So Garack I don't think they're going to tell you

The reason we haven't posted is not that we don't wish to divulge it, but rather that it takes a long time to compile the information, and we've got more important things to do at the moment, with getting 0.31 out. I may get round to doing something like that in the future, but if not, everything's there in the objects_server.zip
A lot of it though, is down to the weapon and how you use it rather than specific figures. For example, I'll always find the m4 more accurate than the ak101, since I find it a lot easier to aim with the red dot scope than iron sights, regardless of which is technically more accurate.
