Speaking of SOUND EFX?

I am NOT posting this to start an argument - because these types of judgements are ALL Subjective.
1) The Sound EFX of PR BF2 I have found to be Superior to Vanilla BF2!

2) Recently I have been playing the United States Intervention (USI) Mod - and I find the Sound EFX in their Mod to be AWESOME (to ME they sound BETTER than the Demo of what everyone is clamoring to purchase).

PLEASE check it out yourselves and see what YOU think - - - - IF many are in agreement that they are BETTER - - - - maybe there is some way to "borrow" them from the USI People and plug what we want into PR??

Carry ON - Soldiers!

the constant chatter from the radios in vehicles made for some attempt at background noise that could disguise some troops movements. theres nothing worse than a non-atmospheric game where you can hear footsteps and breathing everywhere. that belongs in the horror flicks!!!

something more than simply footsteps, vehicle driving and gunfire regarding atmosphere would be an incredible leap towards more realism ingame. especially for those with a good set of headphones clamped round their skull!

Personally I love USI and think the sounds are one of the best aspects of the mod. To each their own :)

Ye I think egg hits it on the head, everybody thinks sounds should be different, we were working on the SPR sound and I remember like 20 different sounds coming up and everyone bitching about the other sound etc and it sucked man! I think the DEVs just have to keep doing their great work with the Mil Advisors and pick a sound they agree on most :)

The sounds on USI are better than vBF2 but to me it is just becuase they are more 'meaty'. Is it just me or have they used the same sound over and over for alot of the guns?

first, what OTT means Rhino? and then i would say(i downloaded USI) good mod, love the A-10, bro that thing rock, and btw i would say that the best mod ever for BF2 would be a combination of PR and USI but that would be almost perfect and that cant happen, nothing is perfect, but so far nice mod, even thou i dont like the crosshair, i prefer keeping it real, no crosshair but its a good mod and of course the sounds are awsome.

I found a lot of weapons sounds were too muted, missing elements of the musical range that were needed for realism.

The A10 is a raping c*nt though. it is so powerful in a pilots hands that you only really have a chance if the pilot is "blanket bombing" some other poor mug and you are somewhere in it's rear 180 deg arc with a lot of AA missiles
