i randomly get an error when i play.
anyone know how to fix this mismatch?

Which file does it list? When you get kicked you should get a window that pops up, and on that window it should list the specific file that mismatched.

I got rid of the error by doing pretty much everything except a full re-install.

Which is a very pleasing result
