Is it me or is the a-10 and frogfoot when you get in it the engines are very distorted. When some one says "sending laser now" it is to very distorted when in side both planes. I have not heard this before until the new .87 update.

also it is still distorted even we i turn the volume down. there is no distortion in the mig and f-16

I have this exact same problem, and it only happens in .87

I remember it being distorted in earlier versions, but I think that was in the Blackhawk.

Hmm iirc for the 1.5 patch they updated the openal version used by bf2 so this might be a consequence of that

like yesterday I was in frog just took off cause some one of my team members was wanting me to take out 2 aa's he laze and I could not even here the I got lock thing so i didn’t drop. They spotted me out shot some aa missiles at me flares took care of them but they told the f-16 and well you probley know what happens after that.

Can there be any fix for this?

You don´t need to hear the sounds for dropping bombs, for missiles I can´t remember but I never waited for a sound.

its not only cas that is effected but air to air to and ground to air. You cant hear the "beep, beep, beep" sound from you getting tagged from a aa missile to.

i always waited until i had the ''i got lock on him'' sound. But if u dont lock on it it just goes away from the target or not?
So crazy i am flying since .5 and i didnt read it in the manual/ingame.

You can drop the bombs from an altitude of over 9000, I mean, 1500 and it will still find its way to the target.

mmm for me the sound is a little distorted but i can always hear and make out everything in the A10/frog. O.o i didn't know u could drop the bombs without the lock sound and they'll hit.

I have that same problem. I'm gonna test it out tonight to confirm for sure.

done and its not 100% including it will lock onto ANY laser that means the hostile one

i know what he meant by that and cool!
