Wanna make a gameplay vid to put on youtube of some korengal valley but Ive just done a test with fraps on training and its out of sync. Now I know how to solve this problem in vegas but I don't think it's out of sync in some places, only in little bits of the video. Anyone know how I can fix this ?

Thanks.

Not enouth info, wrong forum.

If by any chance you meant that sound is not in synch with the video, rescaord it again only use "full-sise" not "half-sise" option.

Not enough info ? :/ out of sync means out of sync. It can't possibly mean something else. :/

BTW: It is on full size.

Out of sync can mean a LOT of things, what things are out of sync? Well, its video so probably audio and video. Try half-size then. And is it out of sync in the file itself or just when you upload to youtube?

When i play it back, Ive tried using media player classic, normal wmv play, in Vegas its out of sync :/ Everything is out of sync also. And I can't adjust it in Vegas as the further i get into the vid the more out of sync it gets, but the sound and video are the same length in Vegas So I don't know what it could be. Also tried using Vdub but no luck their either. :/

I will try half size on training to test :) Also, if I record with Xfire can I get a hold of the file and import it into Vegas and not on their site.

My specs also:

Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 @ 2.4ghz
2 gig Ram
8800GS (OC'd Version) 384mb Nvidia
Creative X-Fi Xtreme Audio

Ingame:

Res: 1280x1024 @ 75 hurtz
Everything High
AA: x2

Any more ideas ?

Yes, tell us EVERYTHING that is out of synch, because there are atleast 5 things that could be out of synch, most commonly - audio.

Well the stuff that i can obviously tell where it's out of synced is for example. Shots from guns, that little bleep when you choose a kit by pressing 'T', when i hop into vehicles I can here the sound before/after i get into them. :O Trying a newer version of fraps also <3

That's audio out of synch, I think you need your PC need CPU upgraded, it doesn't seem to record effectivle. An other tactic would be to start FRAPS when the game is fully loaded and you're spawned. That should help a bit.

it can have something to do with the screen refresh rate vs fraps capture rate.

What FPS have you set fraps to capture at?
And have you tried lowering your ingame hertz to 60?

I think I got it to work now, I changed my Sound card settings sampling output to 96hz (or something like that) And updated my version of fraps to 2.9.9 and it seems to be bang on. Im uploading a video to youtube now and you can tell me what you think of the sync (I think it's spot on), and the colours if you don't mind, thanks <3 :D

Everything on High with x2 AA @ 1280x1024 @ 75 hurtz. Hope this helps :) You like the colours by the way? Gives it a more emotional feel to the scenery I feel. Can't wait to test the colours on Korengal Valley :)

Yeah it's nice. The colors make it look realistic.

My PC's specs are:
Windows XP SP2 Home Edition
nVidia 9600 GT
4GB RAM (only 3 are seen by XP)
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400 2.66GHz
Realtek HD Audio

If I use the following setting on PR:
1280x1024 60 Hz
Everything on Medium (Crashes in High once the map is loaded)
Draw Distance 100%
AntiAlaishing X0 (I don't like the blurred view)

Hmmm, your setup seems defiantly good enough. Have you tried a different map ? Maybe try AA on x2 and put so much on high, not everything at once. Then when you know what's causing the crash simply leave that on medium and have the rest on high :)

I'll try that out... Never realy consithered looking for a specific option that would make me crash...

So I got bored and decided to do A HD Screen of the colours Before and After. In the After Picture I added a 'Sunburst Effect' to spice it up. Tell me what you think :)

You added the sunburst with sony vegas?
Also I think patch 1.5 fixed the problem becuase everything's on max and I'm ingame without problems.
Oh and... The sunburst effect makes everything look... well let's just say that it adds atmosphere to the enviroment... Looks a lot better and more realistic with it.
