I JOIN A GAME...THEN GAME CRASHES HELP PLEASE

i have vista 64, i used to play just great, now i open the freaking game, load a map...start playing and after a while game will just crash....i am using 8.7... vista 64 bit...i got 6gb ram, and well using 8800 gts 640mb nvidia card,
dont know what to do...i tried the +fullscreems, but i get no errors...game will just crash.
help me please,

Turn your textures to medium...
oh and btw the CAPS Title doesnt make your problem any more urgent to people

why cant i know use the on high? whats sooo bull...i used to play it on high all the time?

Its a glitch with vista, I dunno why tbh but it seems everyone I know who uses vista has the problem and turning it to medium fixes it.

well might be true...i will try it...but i can assure u that i was running it on high for about 2 years now..since PR came out..and never had those problems.... i will try it and let u know what happens

tried it and still crashes....dont know wtf is wrong

I have the EXACT same problem as Hollywood. I've been playing PR since .5 and love it. But with .87 I played semi~okay last weekend. I CTD during map change about 8 times with probably 25 maps played. Today, I can't even start a map before it just CTDs. As soon as I hit the Spawn key, it drops.
Any ideas? (i've done the medium thing and fullscreen as well)

My pr freezes throughout the game and just completely freezes about 20 minutes in, i wonder if its a windows 7 thing.

This happend to me yesterday.
Spawned into the game, walked around a bit, then crash to windows without any messages.
I tried a few other servers but still the same. So..
Tried restarting computer and problem gone!

Right click your desktop icon, go to compatibility, make sure the box is unchecked, 1.5 likes to force it into 95 compatibility, if that does not work, go your profile, in my documents -> BF2 -> profiles -> then the # corresponding to your character, open up audio.con, paste this over the voip ones,

AudioSettings.setVoipCaptureVolume 0
AudioSettings.setVoipBoostEnabled 0
AudioSettings.setVoipUsePushToTalk 0
Note if you have to do the voip thing, i have the same problem, it will fix it, but you cannot use voip, so you would have to use mumble/vent/ts/etc.
If this still does not fix it, go to your control panel/system/hardware/ device manager/ (sound/audio/whatever) is there a Tunebite Dubbing software, if so, Uninstall it, after that, my voicesetup stopped overflowing and it seems like i can use voip.

Turn AA off. Set a higher res instead.
I read there might be a problem with AA and 1.5 patch.
Worth a shot
