I keep getting this error when attempting to join a game. I can play on the lithuanian server no problem though, but every other server gives me the invalid CD key error. I have tried refreshing the CD key, reinstalling the game and all updates along with vBF2. I saw some other people had this problem too so I was wondering i anyone has a solution. I am using a CD key gen because I lost my original manual for the game. I have searched everywhere for it and can not find it for the life of me. In case any are wondering, yes I did buy the game, In fact, I have bought it two times. You can check my stats as I have played Pr many times before last year, just reinstalled it since I upgraded Ram recently. So any help?

Your use of a cd-key generator is probably your problem, and I think the only solution is to buy another copy of BF2 (you could even just buy the cd-key from the EA Store and use it with the CD's you have I would imagine). It's very cheap; you can buy a copy on eBay or Amazon for almost nothing.

Yes, I plan on doing that if that is indeed the problem, but I was wanting some 100% conformation before I buy another CD key. The reason being is I do not want to buy one and then end up up not fixing the problem.

yeah i agree the the CD key gen is probably ur problem mate, best to buy another copy i suppose.

No need to buy new. Use the downloaded version. You have a valid online account? Sure you do. Your CD/DVD is broken? No problemo. EA can verify you and provide you with a download link.Download and use the online version. If you have issues with the EA Download Manager
